We’re qualified sure (REPS LV 2 or 3), but more importantly, we’re passionate. What we do for ourselves and for you is what gets us up in the morning. Ask us a question, get to know us, we’d love to get to know you and help you reach your goals, or even decide on some new ones!
Jay the owner, has spent 15 years in the industry and 25 years dreaming about opening CORE. while eating doughnuts (resident Homer Simpson!).
Diwi was an original member of the team when the gym first opened in 2016 and keeps coming back! He is known for his questionable fashion sense.
Our Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Ollie is a competitive weightlifter and runs the Weightlifting Club. He's also known for racing cars and building lego.
Our newest team member, Lily is an aspiring PTI in the Army. She classes herself as someone who loves adventure and the outdoors.
Jake originally began training to avoid losing a bet at University, however it very quickly became his passion! Alongside the gym, Jake also enjoys kicking a ball about.
The resident powerlifter who makes up for what he doesn’t have in height in his strength. He’s been with us for over five years as a member and is passionate about anything strength related. Outside the gym, cars fill the void.

Please remember we can help you gain your fitness qualifications so experience isn’t necessary but a desire to support people, love exercise and adapt to every situation is essential. Flexibility is a requirement of the role as we open from 6am until 10pm Monday to Friday and 7am until 8pm Saturday’s, Sundays and Bank Holidays (364 days a year) and shift patterns fall within this.
